When Will Gas Stations and Oil Companies stop Ripping off Americans

I hate when I go to a gas station and have to get air for my tires and have to pay. I think Its wrong and it needs to be free again. Its bad enough you have to put the proper change in these crappy air machines and they don't even work properly. What Gives?
